Mimic Crew: Online is a party game for up to four players where your voice does most of the work. Each round gives everyone a sound to imitate using their microphone. Once the recordings are done, the real fun starts: listening to what everyone came up with and deciding which attempts deserve your vote.
Hear a sound and try to copy it
Every round starts with the same challenge for everyone. You first hear the original sound and then get one chance to record your own version. It might be an animal, a strange noise, or something that simply wasn't designed to come out of a human mouth. Once everyone is finished, all the recordings are played back to the group.
Vote for the best, or worst, attempts
Players can Like or Dislike each recording, with those votes adding up over several rounds. Whoever collects the most Likes by the end wins the match. The rules are deliberately simple, and much of the appeal comes from hearing just how differently four people can interpret the exact same sound.
A mobile take on the Mimic Party craze
The concept closely follows Mimic Party, the PC game that has recently become a viral hit among voice-based party games. The original currently has no official Android or iOS version, which has already led to clones and very similar games appearing on mobile.
